Positive Affirmation Pendants

Our collection is inspired by some of Africa’s most endangered species. Each animal offers a valuable lesson on survival and comes with positive affirmations based on that species' attributes. These include:

Pangolin | Protection & Hope

Giraffe | A journey

Elephant | Strength & Wisdom

African Wild Dog | Social Intelligence

Rhinoceros | Ancient Warrior

Turtle | Endurance & Longevity

How to choose a pendant?

Each charm’s positive affirmation is unique. Depending on what you may be going through in the moment, you may find that one speaks to you and offers a bit of wisdom to point you in the right direction and help you to overcome an obstacle.

About Our Jewellery

Sustainability

We are committed to creating timeless pieces that can be passed down through generations. We aim to create responsible and mindful products and are committed to furthering our sustainability journey and reducing our environmental impact.

Positivity Packaging

We use eco-friendly, sustainable pine wood packaging for all orders. We have created beautiful, plastic-free jewellery boxes that can be used to store your piece for years to come. Or if you're anything like me, collected and kept to store other little treasures. We hope this can help to combat the cycle of waste so commonly involved in the fashion industry.

Ethically Sourced Metals

Precious metals are non-renewable resources. Instead, we try as much as possible to use recycled silver and reclaimed metals in our pieces from second-hand items no longer in use to reduce our footprint. Each custom design incorporates organic shapes and lines, allowing us to maximise our use of recycled and repurposed materials. We also offer our customers the option to send us their old silver jewellery, ornaments, or cutlery to melt down and remodel into the pendant of their choice.

Hand Made In Kenya

We work with two incredible brothers called Abdulla and Moosa. Their parents moved to East Africa in the 1920s as traders - trading in gold, silver, and creating handmade jewelry. From a young age, their parents installed a wealth of knowledge into the two young brothers and a passion for jewellery making was born. In 1991, they journeyed to Kenya from Somalia and established a jewellery making business in Old Town Mombasa. Here they embarked upon creating exquisite gold and silver pieces for boutique hotel shops across East Africa. They have always had an emphasis on crafting safari jewellery inspired by the captivating wildlife of Kenya, it was an instant fit for ASC Earth to partner with them on this exciting new venture. Today, their business flourishes under the joint efforts of two brothers and their little team of talented Kenyan jewellers.

Jewellery Care

  • Your sterling silver pieces should be cleaned with your special sterling silver cloth and if required, a small amount of silver polish. Rinse the sterling silver thoroughly in warm water and dry carefully. Never use tissues or paper towels for cleaning sterling silver, as these will scratch the jewellery.  After the jewellery is wiped clean, leave it to air dry completely for a day before putting it on or away. Moisture speeds the tarnishing process, so ensure the jewellery is dry before putting it away.

  • To clean solid gold jewellery, use warm, sudsy water containing a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid and rub gently with your fingers or a cotton swab. Rinse your gold jewellery thoroughly with warm water and dry it with a cotton cloth.  Before storing, let the gold jewellery lie flat and air dry completely for a day. Moisture speeds the tarnishing process, so it is important to ensure your gold jewellery is dry before putting it on or away. Once the jewellery is dry, rub it gently with a jewellery polishing cloth if it looks dull. To avoid creating a pattern, rub with the polishing cloth in varying straight lines, not in a circular motion.  Store pieces individually in the organic microfibre pouch provided.
